The FAA Small Business Office (SBO) attended the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) Summit & Salute in Houston, TX to engage with the women-owned business community in its efforts to support the agency's socio-economic initiatives. SBO staff participated in meet-and-greet roundtable discussions and networking opportunities, and met with vendors and WBENC representatives. SBO staff also participated in workshops and met with WBENC national staff to discuss ideas for partnering with WBENC in the future. The event welcomed over 1,500 industry participants, allowing the SBO to share procurement readiness information with a significant number of firms.
