SBO participated in the ATCA Technical Symposium

The FAA Small Business Office (SBO) recently participated in the Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA) Technical Symposium at the William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) in Atlantic City, NJ. The "Technical Center Tuesday" event took place on May 14th, 2019, and featured the theme, "Where Innovations Take Flight". Technical Symposium attendees traveled to the WJHTC to get an insider's look at cutting-edge aviation research and development, and learn from experts as they find innovative solutions to current and future air transportation challenges.

The FAA SBO staffed a table during the Technical Center Tuesday event and met with industry to discuss technical support services, upcoming procurements, becoming procurement ready, and staying competitive in the technical marketplace. Attendees were also able to take technical track tours of various WJHTC facilities and laboratories including the Cybersecurity Test Facility, Cockpit Simulation Facility, Airport Research Facilities, and Air Traffic Management Automation and Decision Support System laboratories.
